The urban art community and graffiti enthusiasts alike are mourning the loss of a true legend. Fuzz One, known in the real world as Vincent Fedorchak, passed away on September 19, 2025, leaving an irreplaceable void in the history of Big Apple art.

Born and raised in New York, Fuzz One was a pivotal figure in the 70s and 80s graffiti scene, one of the pioneers whose work on subway trains and walls shaped what we now know as street art. His unmistakable style and dedication to his craft earned him the respect and admiration of peers and followers for decades.
Nacido y criado en Nueva York, Fuzz One fue una figura fundamental en la escena del graffiti de los años 70 y 80, uno de los pioneros cuya obra en metros subterráneos y muros dio forma a lo que hoy conocemos como graffiti. Su estilo inconfundible y su dedicación a su oficio le valieron el respeto y la admiración de compañeros y seguidores durante décadas.

Fedorchak died at the age of 63 at the Westchester County Medical Center. His passing occurred three days after suffering a sudden and fatal heart attack at his home, a somber reminder of life's fragility.
But Fuzz One's story does not end with his death. In an act of generosity that defines his spirit, he became a posthumous hero. Fuzz One was an organ donor, and through this noble gesture, he saved the lives of two people: one who received his liver and another who received his kidney.
Fedorchak murió a la edad de 63 años en el Westchester County Medical Center. Su fallecimiento ocurrió tres días después de sufrir un repentino y fatal ataque al corazón en su hogar, un recordatorio sombrío de la fragilidad de la vida.
Pero la historia de Fuzz One no termina con su muerte. En un acto de generosidad que define su espíritu, se convirtió en un héroe póstumo. Fuzz One fue donante de órganos, y a través de este noble gesto, salvó las vidas de dos personas: una que recibió su hígado y otra que recibió su riñón.



His legacy will endure not only through the photographs and memories of his masterpieces that adorned the urban landscape of New York but also through the gift of life he offered to others in his final moments.
